Edward Don Leroy Daniels aka "Big Ed" or "Donnie", passed away at home on June 30, 2025 at the age of 59 surrounded by his family. He was born on September 3, 1965 in Dearborn, Michigan to Edward and Florence Daniels. Ed was a life-long resident of River Rouge, Michigan and was a Master Mechanic. He built several race cars plus worked on many of his friend's vehicles in the community. Ed is the survived by his mother Florence Daniels, sister Darla Ramazetti (Rick), brother Larry Daniels (Joan), and uncle to Chuck, David, Tiffany, and Josh. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Daniels. He is also survived by many other family, friends and his beloved cat "Chewy".
Cremation has already taken place at the Allen Park Chapel of Voran Funeral Home. A celebration of Ed's life and memorial will be held on August 10, 2025 at the Grecian Center, 16300 Dix Road in Southgate, Michigan from 1-5pm (food served from 2-3:30pm only). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Henry Ford Hospice. Please share memories and/or leave condolences on Ed's guestbook page on his tribute wall.

Thoughts and Prayers to Florence, Darla and the whole family during this time. I have very fond memories of Ed when we were very young kids growing up in River Rouge. Rest Peacefully Ed.
