Kathy Hammon

Kathy Hammon was born on May 31, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan. Kathy, who resided in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on July 4, 2025 at the age of 69. Dear sister of Earl (the late Rosanne) and Ricky (Sheila) Dillon. Dearest grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Violet and Luther Dillon, her son, David Boswell, and her siblings, Luther "Junior" Dillon and Cindy Dillon. She will be deeply missed by her aunt, who was like a mother to her, Wilma Abbott, her Abbott cousins who she loved like siblings, many dear nieces and nephews, all of her church family, and many other family and friends.
Visitation Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 5900 Allen Rd. (313) 928-2300. Funeral service Friday 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
