To the Davis Family: While I did not work directly for Mr. Davis, during his time with Dominion, he greatly influenced my career path within the informal chats we used to have, before and after his retirement. I'll always remember him as a genuine, thoughtful and caring professional. May God continue to bless the family he represented, the lives he touched and the community he served, as well as the legacy he leaves behind.

Chris, Rusty, Jennifer & Jamie - Your father was a dear man who loved me and my family so much. He was my first cousin - although he was 20 years older than me. Eddie loved my mom (your Grandmother's sister), too, and he and Chris and Buddie and Ernie were there with us in June after she passed away. I wish so much I could be there this week with you all, but unfortunately I have a two-day training session with all my reps and it is just impossible to reschedule. Please know that I love you all and have such fond memories of playing together in the yards at Richmond. Please ask your mom for my address and let's reconnect this year. You can find me on Facebook too, if you are there.
One thing I know - Eddie Davis had one of the biggest hearts of any man I've ever met. He truly loved people and I am glad to know I was one of those. I know you will all miss him dearly. I certainly have missed his Aunt Jo this year. Rest well, Eddie, and enjoy your great reward! With Love -

What a fine morning we had earlier this summer when Eddie & Buddy came down to NC to visit with Mom and Lonnie! I went over at breakfast and we had such a good time together.
The loss of Eddie is a real shock and I know Mom (Grace's sister, Christine) would be there if she was up for the trip. So, I'll bring her thoughts and prayers for you along with me and see you all on Tuesday - Wednesday.

My dear sweet Jen,Chris and Boys: I'm so very sorry for the great loss of your wonderful Daddy and husband. I feel so blessed to have known him, he was a sweetheart that's for sure. When we were kids he was always so patient with us even when we were at our "loudest"...he always said he didn't have to see us to know we were in the house because he ALWAYS heard us first!! He always had a sweet smile and gentle hug for us. I know the days ahead will be hard but just keep looking up cause he will always be looking down upon you and you will carry him in yours hearts forever. May the Lord give you peace today and always in knowing that the Lord shared a very special man with you all. My prayers and thoughts are with you all and I love each of you very much.
