Edward L. Dube July 19 1927 - March 3 2024
Edward was the loving husband of the late Estelle M. Dube with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Timothy Dube and Catherine (Paradis) Dube. After graduating from high school, Edward enlisted in the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1946 with a service connected disability.
Following his discharge from the Navy, Edward attended Burdett College where he met his love Estelle. Edward continued his education at Northeastern University where he graduated with a BS in Industrial Management and an MBA. In 1962, Edward was invited to join the faculty at Northeastern's University College. He taught at Northeastern's Burlington and Boston campuses for the next 45 years and was awarded a Faculty Recognition Certificate for his length of service.
Edward was a licensed Professional Engineer with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As President of Advanced Products Corporation, he provided consulting services to the Air Force, in areas of Manufacturing and Engineering while under contract with Analytical Systems Engineering Corporation from 1985 - 1995. Edward was also a member of the North Shore Association of Realtors and the Sigma Epsilon Rho Honor Fraternity at Northeastern University.
Edward and Estelle loved traveling and spend winters at their home in The Villages at Lady Lake Florida with long time friends.
Edward leaves his children Kenneth and his wife Barbara and Granddaughter Michelle and Great-Granddaughter Brianna. Also Grandson Bradley, his wife Brooke and Great-Grandchildren Ryker, Decland and Everly.
He also leaves sons Richard and Robert, his wife Claire and Grandson Jason.
The Family will be holding Private Services to honor Edward. Please consider in lieu of flowers to make a donation to a charity of your choice in Edward's name.
