Edward Danial Dziak, 83, of Gunther, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

He was born on December 6, 1940, to the late John and Katherine (Zielonko) Dziak. On April 6, he married Karen Ann Bell, who survives him.

Edward graduated from Mosinee High School and joined the U.S. Navy on October 1, 1958, serving honorably until his discharge in September 1964. He went on to work at the Mosinee Paper Mill until his retirement.

Edward was a beloved patriarch of his family who enjoyed spending time in nature, understanding how things worked, and being surrounded by loved ones. Known affectionately as “Eddy,” he was a kind and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His guidance, compassion, and wisdom will be sorely missed by family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Karen, Edward is survived by his son, Gary Dziak, and his wife, Tonia Dziak, and his daughter, Christine Goldsmith, and her husband, Tim Goldsmith. He was a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren, listed by age: Kian, Matthew, Grayson, and Lorelei.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Stan, Ray, Bruno, and Johnny, and his sister, Vivian. He is survived by his sisters, Alice and Betty.

A private gathering will take place on Saturday, November 9. Online condolences may be shared at www.bestefh.com.
