Edward Porter Jr. of Ellenville, NY, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. He was 51 years old. Eddie was born on June 19, 1970 in Ellenville; he was the son of the late Charlotte (Kinch) and Edward Porter Sr.
Eddie married the love of his life Bobbie Jo Porter on June 14, 2013. She has since predeceased him.
Eddie lived his life to the fullest. Most days he enjoyed a cold beer and a smoke, listening to country music, hanging out with his best friend Billy Kinch and watching football. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a volunteer firefighter with the Pioneer Engine Company.
Eddie is survived by his children, Grace Porter, Rachel Porter, Starrann Porter, Tiffany Artuz, Jennifer Langjan, Henry Kiernan and Kelly Kiernan; his sisters, Barbara Troue and Lori Vlassis; his best friend, Billy Kinch; his uncles, Terry Kinch and Heinz Stein; his aunt Sheila Shultis Kinch as well as many grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Eddie is predeceased by his sister Christine Smith.
Visiting will be held on Monday, January 3rd from 1:00 to 4:00 pm with a celebration of his life beginning at 3:00 pm at Loucks Funeral Home, Ellenville.
