Edward Frank Rodriguez Jr. 40 passed away and became our guardian angel on May 16, 2024. He was born on May 22, 1983, in Hobbs, New Mexico to Ed and Sonya Rodriguez. Edward married Linda Rodriguez on July 22, 2017. He is survived by his parents Ed and Sonya Rodriguez, his wife Linda Rodriguez, children- Dejah Rodriguez, Marissa Rodriguez, Zaybrie Rodriguez, Darin Munoz, Robert Munoz, Kelli Munoz, Grandkids- Amaya Burgess, Ava Burgess, Isiaha Burgess, his sister Penny Mendoza, Brother-in-Law Noel Mendoza, Jazzalynn Mendoza (niece), Aryannah Mendoza (niece), Nikoles Mendoza (nephew), Glenna (Bo) Smith, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Frank “Palio” Rodriguez, Francisca (Granny) Rodriguez, Julian Salcido, Anita Rodriguez. Edward started working on drilling rigs at a young age, and eventually became a driller. He loved working on the rigs. He also loved being outside whether it be fishing or barbecuing. He always made friends wherever he went, he never knew a stranger. We will miss all the dramatic stories he told. He could make anyone laugh. He had such a big heart and was loved by many. Edward will be forever missed but we are grateful he is at peace and resting now.
