Edward Jack Erickson, age 66, of Yardley, Pennsylvania, peacefully went to Jesus on Friday, July 18, 2025. Ed was born in Memphis, Tennessee on January 29, 1959.

Ed moved to Yardley as a young teenager and was an active member of the community for almost five decades. He was the owner of Direct Mortgage Lending in Yardley, Pennsylvania. Ed took great pleasure in helping people to become homeowners. Ed was also an avid golfer and a longtime member of Yardley Country Club. He enjoyed spending time on the golf course with his family and many friends. Ed loved photography and capturing countless special moments. He also cherished animals, including his many pets over the years.

Ed is remembered for his generosity, his empathy, and his love of country and community. Ed's life was characterized by a profound dedication to his loved ones. He was a hard worker and took great pride in providing for his family. Ed possessed a magnetic sense of humor, and, above all, an immense love for Jesus Christ. One of his favorite Bible verses that brought him much comfort was Numbers 6:24–26: ""The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace."'

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Erickson; his children: Lindsay Cheshire (wife of Joseph), Jenny King (wife of Patrick), Jack Erickson, Emma Erickson, and Grant Erickson; his siblings: Eve Bowman (widow of Terry Bowman), Eric Erickson (husband of Sue), and Elaine Colangelo (wife of Chris); his grandchildren: Grace, Coco, and Crew; as well as his many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Susan Erickson, as well as his beloved sister Ellen Bollenbacher.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 12:00pm, at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue, Yardley, PA 19067. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the funeral home.
