Edward G. Fagan, known affectionately as Ed to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024, at the age of 64, in his hometown of Trenton, New Jersey.
Ed was born on September 5, 1960 to Edward C. Fagan and Mareta E. Brennan who predeceased him. Ed's life was richly woven with the threads of deep relationships. He is survived by his devoted husband, Gary Wellbrock, who stood by his side in every chapter of their lives together. Ed will be lovingly remembered by his siblings: Mark, Eileen, Dan, and Brian. Ed held a special place in his heart for his godchildren, Ricky Fagan and Christopher Vereb, guiding them with his wisdom and kindness. He was a cherished uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He had many lifelong friends whose unwavering support brought him much comfort.
Professionally, Ed was an Assistant Vice President of marketing at AXA/Equitable and later, a fragrance specialist at Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale's. He delighted in enhancing the lives of others through the art of scent.
His love for Saint Bernards was matched by his enthusiasm for vintage cars, reflecting a deep appreciation for companionship and craftsmanship. He was known for his exceptional ability to entertain, bringing people together with sumptuous food and lively music, creating memories that would be cherished by all who knew him.
His readiness to offer support, and his unwavering bravery in the face of life's challenges inspired all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave, Ewing, NJ.
