Edward Wayne Fernatt

Edward "Eddie" Wayne Fernatt, 78, of Meadow Bridge, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024.
Born September 13, 1945, at Meadow Bridge, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Glenna (Bowles) Fernatt.
For most of his career, he worked in the coal mines. Following a disabling injury, he enjoyed flea-marketing. Eddie loved to trade and talk with all the friends he made. The flea-market will surely miss him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary (Fury) Fernatt; three brother Jackie, Ellis, and Samuel Fernatt; and three sisters Bobby Rice, Phyllis Diffy, and Mickey Strouse.
Survivors include his son Eddie Fernatt, Jr. of Meadow Bridge; his daughter Mona McClung (Bruce) of Smoot; two grandsons Tyler Fernatt of Meadow Bridge and Brad McClung (Kasandra) of Springdale; one granddaughter Amanda Burdette of Meadow Bridge; two great-grandchildren Madison and Logan Burdette of Rupert; one brother Lonnie Fernatt (Jane) of Meadow Bridge; one sister Valerie Lilly (Gary) of Meadow Bridge; his special "Punk" Lisa Patterson Vandall, his neighbor; one sister-in-law Kay Adkins (Mike) of Meadow Bridge; and a host of extended family and friends.
Per his wishes, the body was cremated and there will be no service.
