Edward Ralph Ferrell, 66, of Greenwood, and husband to Pamela Denise Duvall Ferrell, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.
Born in Tucson, Arizona on July 22, 1959, Ralph was a son of the late Ernest and Miriam McDonald Ferrell. He served in the SC State Guard and retired with Greenwood School District 50 in the maintenance department. Ralph always worked hard to provide for his family. He was a great man, a hard worker, and loved his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, David Acheson (McKayla) and Daniel Acheson (Jamie Hitchner); grandchildren, Anna, Easton, Waylon, Memphis, Daniel, Jr. and Kyra; great granddaughter, Isabella Ray; and a sister-in-law, Marleen Duvall.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Clint Ferrell.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 30 at 2:00 PM at Oakbrook Memorial Park in Greenwood. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
The family will be at the home, 3819 Highway 72 221 East, Greenwood.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Cresent Hospice and the Sperry family for their love and support.
