Edward Trejo Gonzalez, known to everyone as Pop, was born on August 1, 1936, and passed away on February 1, 2026. Pop was a loving father, son, husband, friend, and grandfather who meant the world to his family. He was the proud heart of a big, close-knit family and is survived by six children, sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Pop was a hardworking man who taught us the importance of showing up, working hard, and taking care of the people you love. Even with his strong work ethic, he was always a kid at heart. Pop loved to dance to Tejano music, laugh, and enjoy life, and he had a way of bringing joy and kindness to everyone around him.

Some of Pop's happiest moments were spent gathering the family together and barbecuing for those he loved so much. Family was everything to him. Pop showed his love through his actions, his lessons, and the memories he created with all of us. His values, humor, kind, and loving spirit live on in every generation that follows him.

Pop's love and legacy will always be a part of who we are.
