Edward Wayne "Hoss" Hall

Edward Wayne "Hoss" Hall, 73, of Plainview, Texas, departed this earthly world and entered heaven's gates on July 2, 2024. A visitation wake will be held from 6-8PM Friday July 12, 2024, at Bartley Memorial Chapel. A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday July 13, 2024, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Plainview, Texas with Rev. ED Jennings officiating and Rev. Dr. Gregory Franklin, Sr. presenting the Eulogy. Arrangements are under the care of Bartley Funeral Home.
Edward met his Lord and Savior on July 2, 2024. Edward Wayne Hall was born to L.C. & Corene Hall on May 3rd, 1951.
Hoss was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church. He had a passion for driving and was a talented dancer. His love for driving led him to a lifelong being a truck driver. He loved his children and grandchildren. Hoss was married to the love of his life, Patricia Hall, for 45 years. He continued to love her until the day he passed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, L.C. & Corene Hall, 2 sisters, Ethel Vernell Thomas and Charles Etta Smoots, 5 brothers, Lester French, Napoleon Hall, LC Hall Jr., Bobby Hall and Quincy Hall. He is survived by his children, Stephen Wayne and wife Cristi Hall of Odessa, Charles Eugene White of Amarillo, Melba White and husband Wayne Jackson of Plainview, Ruby and Greg Thomas of Indianapolis, Indiana, one sister, Yvonne Franklin of Plainview, 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
