Edward Leroy "Ed" Harnish

Edward "Ed" Leroy Harnish was born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania on June 8, 1946. He accepted Christ at an early age and therefore, he entered into his heavenly rest and the arms of his Savior on March 30, 2025 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX, just a few months shy of his 79th birthday.
At the age of five he was adopted by Reverend Amos Harnish and his wife, Miriam (Whitmer) Harnish. They raised Ed along with his older brother, Jay V. Harnish, who was also adopted. After completing high school, Ed joined the United States Navy, where he served for six years as UDT-22 (later known as the Navy Seals).
Ed lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for many years where he was a specialized lighting salesman. After moving to Texas he worked along side his big brother, Jay, in the family business of ADA specialized construction for those with special needs.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Miriam Harnish, as well as his brother, Jay Harnish. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Rhonda and husband Chris Moster, nephews Jay Erickson and wife Lisa, Shawn Harnish and wife Julie, Charles "Chuck" Parr, and Truston "TJ" Parr, as well as nieces Tammy Townsend and husband Jim, Chanda Boss and husband Brian, Amanda Jeffries. He is also survived by his two roommates, Barbara Brickey and Trish Hall and countless great nieces and nephews.
