Edward Hattem Obituary
Services for Edward will be Friday July 1st, 2022, at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown, MO 64133. Edward's Memorial Service will start at 2:00 PM. His visitation will be held just an hour prior, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. If you are unable to attend, you may tune in by clicking on the following link. Edward Hattem Service
Edward was born January 1st, 1930, in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in Northeast Kansas City with his parents Edward R. and Rita Hattem along with his younger brother Roger Hattem. Edward graduated from Northeast High School in 1948. Edward was a Korean War Veteran, a beloved father and grandfather. He loved horses, enjoyed playing pool, singing, dancing and having good times with family and friends. He worked at Colony Paints for many years as a salesman, but his passion was weightlifting and being a personal trainer.
Edward is survived by his daughter, Jana Landon and two sons, Jeffrey and Thomas Hattem, his brother, Roger Hattem, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

My grandfather was a very caring and loving man. He did so very much for me and our family. He made me laugh and always had my best interest at heart. I couldn´t ever thank him enough. He will be dearly missed.
