Edward L. Heinrichsmeier, 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in Parsons, Kansas. Born on October 21, 1939, Ed was a deeply loved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

Ed led a life rooted in the values of hard work, simplicity, and lending a hand. Over the years, he found his joy spending time with family and friends, baling hay, troubleshooting and solving problems with his mechanical ingenuity, perfecting his welding techniques, conquering the daily crossword, cruising on his motorcycle, helping his friends, and simply loving his family.

Ed leaves behind a legacy of love in his surviving family – his daughter, Staci (Heinrichsmeier) Reeder; grandchildren, America Reeder and Ace Reeder; sister, Patty Probasco; and niece Shelley Smith and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Pauline (Darland) Heinrichsmeier and Stacy Karl Heinrichsmeier.

Friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. The memorial service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. Both events will be held at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
