Mr. Hughes was born on October 27, 1937 to his parents Buford and Martha Thurber. He was an avid golfer and loved to dance.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim Hughes; and daughter, Rhonda Hughes.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 36 years, Amber Hughes; three children, Lee (Robbie) Muldoon, Shea Hughes; two step daughters, Nicole Willis, Jaslyn Richardson; 9 grandchildren, Angel (Glen) McCombs, Dustin Smasal, Nickie Garcia, Lauren Alexandra Muldoon, Jacob Hughes-Gourley, Megan Hughes, Adrian Hopson, Tevin Hughes, Derynn Owens; three step-grandchildren, Kenzie (Ivan) Gomez, Garret (Anna) Richardson, Pate Willis; numerous great-great grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Thacker; and one niece.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
