Mildred Farrer Burke Harris, passed away from this life into her eternal life on June 28, 2025.

She was born April 30, 1936, in Atkins, Arkansas to A.G. and Thelma Smith Farrer- But most importantly, her spiritual birth when she accepted Jesus as her personal Savior was November 1954 at Liberty Baptist Church, Mablevale, Arkansas.

She was retired from Prescott Manufacturing, a charter member of Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Little Rock, where she was involved in the organizations of the church. She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church.

She loved her large family and was proud when they all came for Thanksgiving and other holidays. She felt so blessed to have lived to see her 5th generation. Their home was always filled with love; the love of music and singing was instilled into her family.

Those lost in death before her were her parents; her first husband and father of her children, Vergil Burke; her sisters, Augustine Farrer, Magdaline Mitchener, Charlene Magarity, Faye Farrer, Barbara Bennett; brothers, Samuel Farrer and Joseph Farrer.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband William Howell "Bill" Harris; sons, Larry (Linda) Burke, Robert Burke, Matt Harris; daughters, Sharon (Gary) Crane, Debra (Danny) Jester, Phyllis (Mike) Hicks, Dee Dee Harris; 16 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; 2 unborn great great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Park Missionary Baptist Church.
