It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Edward Eugene Keller IV, affectionately known as Eddie. Born on April 13, 2000, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Eddie lit up every room he entered, filling it with warmth, love and laughter. He never walked away without one of his unforgettable "see-you-later" hugs - the kind you could feel long after he let go - and he never missed a chance to remind those around him just how much he loved them, often saying it more than once just to be sure! Tragically, Eddie was taken from us far too soon on May 10, 2025, in a motorcycle accident to no fault of his own, that has left an immeasurable void in our hearts.
Eddie was deeply proud to work beside his greatest hero and best friend-his father, Edward Eugene Keller III, as a superintendent for his family's business, Keller Development. With an infectious smile and easy-going spirit, Eddie poured his heart and passion into everything he did. He was an inspiration to all who knew him.
When he wasn't on a job site, Eddie cherished every precious moment with his loving family and friends - whether it was making memories on their family's land, soaring high on his dirt bike with his close-knit racing community, or meticulously perfecting his saltwater fish tank. Eddie's unending love was evident in everything he did, and he simply made this world a brighter place.
He leaves behind his beloved fiancée and soulmate, Shelby Lynn Wiggins, with whom he was to be married on October 18, 2025. Together they shared the joy of their son, Edward Eugene Keller V, affectionately known as "Ev," who was the center of Eddie's world and his greatest pride and joy. He is also survived by his loving parents, Edward Eugene Keller III and Susan (Christensen) Keller, and his devoted sister, Aubrey (Michael) Stone. He was a cherished uncle to Kady & Ashton Stone. Eddie will also be deeply missed by his grandmothers, Carol Hengy, Kate Mack and Lisa Keller as well as his aunts and uncles, Tammy (TJ) Brandt, Jerry (Laura) Keller, and Kaci Christensen along with countless dear cousins and friends. The bond he had with those he loved goes beyond this earthly life-an inexplicable connection rooted love and laughter.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Katelynn Carol Keller, who passed away on November 15, 2015. We find comfort in knowing they are now reunited in heaven.
To honor Eddie's memory, a public visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 3:00-7:00pm at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home-Cedar Canyons, 1986 W. Cedar Canyons Rd., Huntertown, IN. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the same location. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in a serene spot at Riverview Cemetery in Churubusco, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Edward Eugene Keller IV Memorial Fund c/o Chase Bank. Online condolences may be left at www.divinemercyfuneralhome.com.
Eddie's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, as well as through his precious son, Ev. We invite everyone touched by his life to join us in honoring his memory by sharing stories, offering support, and holding one another close during this time of unimaginable loss.
