Edward Joseph Koczur

Edward Joseph Koczur of Arcadia, MO passed away May 19, 2023 at the age of 54 years, 5 months, and 18 days.
He was born Dec.1, 1968 in Wiesbaden, Germany, a son of David and Susan Bry Koczur.
He is survived by his Father, David Koczur of Arcadia, one brother Timothy Koczur and wife Liza of Great Falls, MT, and many other relatives and friends. Edward was preceded in death by his mother Susan.
He was a 1987 graduate of Arcadia Valley High School. He was always interested in computers and pursed an associates degree in computer networking at Mineral Area College. He was a member of Ste. Marie du lac Catholic Church and found enjoyment in helping with the services. He proudly served his Country in the United States Coast Guard for nine years and enjoyed recounting stories about the places he's been and things he had done. He also served with a private defense contractor during the Iraq War. He enjoyed classic rock music, old video games and putting together difficult jigsaw puzzles, and was an avid fan of all sports. He was a loving family member who cared very much for his family and his pets.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 25 at 10:00 AM from Ste. Marie du lac Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Wed. May 24 from 6 to 7:30 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.
