Edward Ksionzyk Obituary

Ksionzyk, Edward N.

Windsor, NY & Palm Coast, FL: Edward passed away peacefully Saturday evening February 2, 2013 at the age of 90. He joins his wife, Arline who preceeded him in July 2000. Ed and Arlie were high school sweethearts at Windsor, where he excelled in baseball and basketball. Married during WWII, they celebrated 58 years of marriage before her untimely death. He is survived by his three children, Darlene Krushansky (Joel) of Hernando, FL, Frank Ksionzyk (Joline) of Lakeland, FL and Jack Ksionzyk (Priscilla) of Windsor, NY; three grandchildren, George, Denise, Robert; and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn House of Keene Valley, NY; and sisters-in-law, Eva Anderson and Kathleen Doolittle; as well as many nieces and nephews. When in Florida he looked forward to going to the "White Eagle" in Bunnell on Thursday nights with his Windsor friends. Edward, a veteran of WWII and the Army-Air Corp, served in New Guinea - he was proud to serve his country and was honored to join the many veterans who went to Washington, DC with the Volusia Honor Air group in April 2012. He retired as postmaster of the Windsor Post Office in 1977. At his request, graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date, in lieu of flowers the family asks that you kindly consider making a donation of remembrance to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, 150 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, Florida 32164.

Grandad
We know you can no longer stay with us,
you fought long and hard to be with us.
We know you now watch over and protect us,
Although we cannot hear your voice or see your smiling face,
We know deep down in our hearts that you have not left us.
Instead everyday you surround us with the singing of the birds,
the rising of the sun and the falling of night.
So many broken hearts are left behind,
But in our deepest despair our greatest comfort lies knowing
that you are now at peace with the angels and God.
So as times passes our tears will dry,
our hearts will mend
but our love for you will never end.

Love, George
