Edward grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and graduated from Sault High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy and then moved back to Sault Ste. Marie upon his honorable discharge. He worked at the Soo Locks and was promoted to Lockmaster at the Corp of Engineers.
Edward was a member of the American Legion Post 3 of Sault Ste. Marie.
Edward loved the garden and spent many hours there.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Edward's final resting place will be Hill Crest Cemetery in Brimley, Michigan.
Family Life Funeral Homes Sault Ste Marie assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be left to the family at www.familylifefh.com.
