Edward Kyle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center & Confluence Center on Jul. 16, 2025.
Edward L. Kyle, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
Ed was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Edward and Ina Kyle. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Ed is survived by his wife Tina Kyle; his children Alex (Alison) Kyle, Amanda (Kenny) Graser and Ethan (Erin) Kyle; his grandchildren Joshua, Harper, Josie, Teagan, Kaleb, Kateri, Kolbe and Kira. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, friend and coach to many.
"Fast Eddie" served proudly as a police officer for over 30 years in the St. Louis County area, attaining the rank of Lieutenant. He was instrumental in starting the very first DARE program in the St. Louis County area.
Ed was an avid bass fisherman. He loved all sports, especially watching both his kids and grandkids. Those that knew Ed understood his passion was wrestling. He spent countless hours perfecting his craft/style of wrestling to a "next level ".
His greatest joys came in helping those he cared for excel both on and off the mat. Whether working, fishing, or wrestling, Ed always had a saying for any of life's scenarios. He was known by many names, but the name that meant the most to him, was Papa.
Memorial Visitation from 3:00pm until time of Memorial Funeral Service at 7:00pm on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral and Cremation Center, St. Charles.
Urn burial will be private at St. Paul Churchyard Cemetery.
