Edward J. Leemon

Edward J. Leemon, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025 at the age of 90. He was the loving husband of 70 years to Alice (nee Callsen) and devoted and loving father to the late Edward, Bernadette, John (Mary), Kennith (Lorraine). He was a wonderful grandfather to Edward (Phylicia), Erin, Kennith and Paige (Michael) as well as GG Pop to Audrey, Leah, Eddie, Michael and Morgan. He always had a joke to tell and loved watching MTV's Ridiculousness and listening to Jim Reeves. He will be remembered by his deep love and devotion to his family, especially his wife, Alice, who was the love of his life. He would tell her every day how much he loved her and couldn't live without her. He also leaves behind sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews who will greatly miss him. Special thanks to Bayada Home Health Aides, Dee and Tamika and sister-in-law Betty Jane Basevski who all took wonderful care of him, along with Vitas Hospice Healthcare. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing and Funeral, Wednesday, September 10, 2025 after 8 AM until 10 AM from the Rogers Funeral Home, Inc., 1426-30 South 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147 followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM from Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 1404 South 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147.
