Edward Mabe Obituary
Edward Robert “Eddie” Mabe, 49, of Rockingham passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at his home.
Eddie was born June 13, 1975 in Richmond County, the son of Lydia Hammond Mabe and the late Archie Robert Mabe. He was a graduate of Richmond Senior High School, Class of 1993. Eddie worked for 4 years with NBC Sports on the PGA Tour, with Helms Jewelers for 7 years, Marshall Office Supply for 10 years and currently as the assistant manager of Food Lion in Wadesboro.
Surviving are his mother, Lydia H. Mabe; sister, Nancy M. Linton; nephew and nieces, Jeff R. Linton, Nicki Linton and Caroline Ulisnik (Daniel) and his companion, Robin Timmons Caulder.
A celebration of Eddie’s life will be at 5:00 pm Thursday, August 8, 2024 in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Tim Hawks officiating. Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to a reception honoring Eddie at A Southern Touch at the Estate, 710 S. Caroline St, Rockingham, NC.
