Edward C. McAskill

Kingston, NH – Edward C. McAskill died Saturday, August 12, 2023 at his home in Kingston, NH. He was born in Lynn, MA, on July 27, 1935 to the late Edward F. McAskill and Dorothy Corcoran-Savory- McAskill, and had resided in Kingston for 68 years.
Mr. McAskill was an owner of Kingston Outboard and for many years worked as a district manager for the IRS in Boston, MA. He enjoyed many outdoor sports as well as traveling around the country and Europe. In his later years he could be seen taking walks around the Plains with his faithful friend, Scruffy.
He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Diane McAskill and son, US Army Sergeant First Class Michael McAskill, both of Kingston, NH. He is survived by his sons, Edward McAskill Jr. and his wife Valori of Center Conway, NH and David McAskill and his wife Christine of Kingston, NH; grandsons, Edward McAskill III and his partner Misty of Signal Mountain, TN and Bradley McAskill and his wife Stephanie of Rosamond, CA; and two granddaughters, Christianne McAskill of Fremont, NH and Jessica McAskill and her wife Malorie Landgreen of Salem, MA. He is also the proud great-grandfather of five great-granddaughters, Edward III's daughters Sofia, Lena, and Elyssa, Christianne's daughter, Gwenivere, and Bradley's daughter, Alice. Ed is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St, Exeter, NH. Funeral services will follow directly after at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Pine Grove Cemetery, Kingston.
