Edward C. Miller

Edward C Miller peacefully passed on September 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of family and friends. He was 86 years old and lived a life of hard work and many blessings.
Ed was born on January 1, 1939. The first baby born in Ossining that new year and fittingly nicknamed "Happy", which stuck with him throughout life amongst most who knew him. He was a man of integrity, generosity and the best 'long stories short'.

Ed led Union Carbide's corporate aircraft fleet for years as the Chief of Maintenance.

After he retired, he was most recognized in Ossining as the owner of the Exxon Mobil service station in Campwoods – fondly remembered as Miller's Mobil.

Mechanics was in his blood and he loved working with his hands on airplanes and cars.
We find comfort knowing Ed's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents and six tight-knit siblings.

His high school sweetheart and love of his life, Willa C. Miller, also welcomed him into heaven leading the choir. He is survived by his two sons, Edward (Rhonda) and Jeffrey (Natasha) and his daughter Lynn (Edwin), along with grandchildren Amy (Lucas), EJ (Whitney), Jenny (Anthony), Ryan and Jeffrey and great-grandchildren Charlotte, Willa, Eli, Max, Eliana, Isabella and one on the way, along with many nieces, nephews, family, friends and his church parish.

Visitation will be held on Monday September 22, 2025 from 4:00 – 8:00pm at Leach & Thomas – Waterbury & Kelly 45 S. Highland Avenue Ossining, NY with a funeral mass on Tuesday September 23, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Theresa's Church 1394 Pleasantville Road Briarcliff Manor, NY.
