Margaret Rosenburgh

Margaret Ellen Rosenburgh (1945–2025), beloved sister, aunt, nurse, and friend.

Margaret Rosenburgh of Hartsdale, NY, passed away peacefully on November 13th. Margaret was born in Fort Totten, North Dakota. She spent her childhood in the Dakotas, Saigon, and upstate New York before attending Mary Immaculate School for Girls in Ossining, NY, a member of the Class of 1963.

After graduating, Margaret began a nearly three-decade-long career in banking at Scarsdale National Bank, where she served as a Branch Manager and as a Vice President. She chose to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse and received her licensure in 1994. Margaret worked at Brandywine Nursing Home in Briarcliff Manor and later at the Jewish Childcare Association (JCCA) Edenwald branch in Pleasantville, NY, before retiring. As a nurse, Margaret treated her patients with kindness, compassion, and laughter. Throughout her life, Margaret volunteered for several organizations, including hospice care.

She will be deeply missed by her family and her friends. Her sense of humor and warmth will be remembered by all who knew her.

Margaret is survived by her siblings Carol Ballantyne, Susan Kostopoulos, and William Rosenburgh, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Jody Nevin. A visitation will be held at Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home, 45 S. Highland Ave., Ossining, NY 10562, from 12:00–1:00 P.M. on Monday, November 24, 2025, followed directly afterwards by burial at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
