Edward W. Morrow, known to most simply as Ed, age 80, of Appleton, passed away on October 31, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family and held in God's grace.

Born May 31, 1945, in Madisonville, Kentucky, Ed grew into a man known for his servant's heart, a gentle spirit, and generosity. A friend to many, he lived his life helping others, offering a warm smile, a steady hand, and a sincere love for people.

Ed spent many of his happiest years behind the wheel of a semi truck, embracing the open road with a true trucker's spirit. He shared that love of the road- as well as his love of horses and the cowboy way of life- with his family, giving them memories and passions that will live on through them. He also enjoyed woodworking, and cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers.

His faith was the foundation of his life. As the head Usher at Appleton Alliance Church, Ed served faithfully and wholeheartedly to point others to God. Most often, Southern Gospel music filled his home and his heart.

Ed is survived by his devoted wife, Peggy, two step-daughters, Keli Schmitt (Brian Johnston) and Amber Schmitt (Stephen VanDerWeele), 5 grandchildren, Victoria, Leia, Xavier, Dave and Zechariah, & 2 great-grandchildren, who will forever carry his kindness, his laugh, and the lessons he lived by.

Preceding him in death was his father, Martin Edward Morrow, and mother Verna Mae (Utley) Morrow, in addition to his older sister Willabelle (Owen Gibbons) Morrow and Gibbons family.

A service honoring Ed's life will be held at Dignity, Highland Memorial Park 3131 N Richmond St, Appleton, WI 54911 on November 18th at 1:00pm. We are wearing a piece of the color red in Ed's honor if you would like to participate.

"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is my strength of my heart and my portion forever." - Psalm 73:26

Ed will be remembered as a man who gave freely, loved deeply, and served joyfully.
