Edward Morse Obituary
Ed retired from Kirtland Country Club after 27 years of service as the Building Manager. Prior to that he owned and operated M. Morse & Sons, a construction and painting company that he acquired from his father, Maynard Morse.
Ed served his country in the Army as a tank gunner and as a member of the Honor Guard while stationed in Korea.
He enjoyed camping with his family, woodworking, playing cards and spending the winters with his wife, Ann, in their Florida home.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ann; children, Laura (Paul Porch) Vonier, Mark (Regina) Morse, and Eric (Kristina) Morse; grandchildren, Ryan (Shan) Vonier, and Rachel (Eric) Long, Nicole Morse, Todd (Lindsey) Morse, Abbey Morse, Mason Morse, Summer Torok; great grandchildren, Paxton, Piper, Ellis, Paige, and Kendall; his sister, Kathryn Morse - Parish; and his brothers, Tom (Sis) Morse, and David Morse. He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maynard and Grace Morse; his brother Maynard Morse; his sister, Mary Martincic.
A celebration of Ed's life will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
A memorial service to conclude the celebration will begin at 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
