Edward Opitz Obituary

Edward had been employed at the U.S. Arsenal and then at the Norton Company in Watervliet. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army and was an avid skier, hunter and fisherman.
He is predeceased by his siblings, Viola (Chester) Andryszczyk, Stella (Raymond) Faluszczak, Peter (Joyce) Opitz and Joseph Opitz. He is survived by his loving nieces and nephews, Chester, Christine, Mary Jane, Joanne, Julie, Jennifer, Timothy, Raymond and Gregory. He is also survived by several cousins.
Private, graveside committal services, with Military Honors, will be at the convenience of the family and interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Waterford.
Those who wish to remember Ed can make a donation to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Rd., Ballston Spa, NY 12020
