David A. Brisson

REXFORD David A. Brisson, 58, of Rte. 146 and formerly of Waterford, passed away peacefully Sunday February 1, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cohoes he was the son of the late George and Marie Gribbage Brisson. He was a 1986 graduate of Waterford Halfmoon High School.

David had worked for several area construction companies and also had been employed at the former Leonard Hospital in Troy.

He enjoyed music and played the guitar. He was a member of the Rye Bread Club in Waterford. He was an easy-going person who was kind to all and never had a bad word to say about anyone.

Survivors include his sons Kyle Brisson (Tessa) of Troy and Kyle's mother Tricia Gwinn of Waterford, Ryan Brisson (Grace) of Woodlawn, TN and Nicholas Brisson (Veronica) of Scotia and their mother Tracy Savoie of Waterford. He is the brother of Deborah Blair of Rexford, Bruce Brisson (Sheba) of Melrose, Lynn Glodich of Willsboro, Michael Brisson of Troy and the late Wayne Brisson and is the brother in law of Mary Ellen Brisson of Coeymans Hollow. He is the proud grandfather of Gage, Carter and Beckett Brisson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of his family.
