Edward Poff Obituary

He was born to Edward Melvin Poff, Sr and Margaret Poff, he resided most of his life in Norfolk Virginia. Edward married Mollie-Dana Somes in 1992, they had 3 children (Edward, Danielle, and James) in 2005 he moved his family of 5 to Chesapeake where he retired and made a life for his family.
He worked for Elco Concrete Inc. for 20+ years, he was a loving caring friendly man. He always went out of his way to help those around him. He made a lasting impression on everyone that met him. In 2014 he was diagnosed with nasal cancer which he beat, and was in remission, however the surgery did a number on his body which made him very weak at times.
We lost Edward (Eddie/Buddy) on December 25, 2024 due to a massive heart attack. He will be greatly missed by many loved ones and family, and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Mollie, father Edward sr. mother's Margaret and step mother Francis, brother David and many other family.
He leaves behind to carry on his memory His 5 sisters Margaret, Nancy, Lisa, Mary-Frances, and Shawnee, his 2nd wife Patricia Pie, His 3 children and their spouses Edward and Sabrina, Danielle and Brandho, James and Samantha; and 12 grandchildren (Sam, Austin, Piper, Serenity, Liam, Aiden, Jaxon,)(Cecilia, Dorotheo) (Riley, Lily-Rose) (Margaret). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
His celebration of life will be held at:
3612 Robinhood Road Norfolk Virginia 23513,
2:00 pm to 4pm, Saturday 4th of January, 2025. If you would like to come pay respects to the family, share memories, or send flowers to 3129 Jersey Ave. Norfolk, VA.
