Edward Paul Provost
Jericho- Edward Paul Provost, 67 of Jericho died of Colon Cancer Friday August 29, 2025 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
Ed was born on June 6, 1958, in Burlington Vt., the son of Donald P. and Theresa (Begiven) Provost. Ed attended Burlington schools till the family moved to Colchester where he graduated from Colchester High School in 1976. And later served his country in the United States Army. On Oct. 14, 1999 Ed married the love of his life Robin Baker in Cambridge VT.
Ed worked as a Master Electrician and was a member of the electrical union (IBEW) Local 300 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a quiet man who enjoyed spending time with his wife, family, helping with household projects, going fishing and an occasional trip to the casino. He also, enjoy going to the local pub for Taco Tuesday. For those who knew Ed well would say "Ed will be Ed" or "that's Ed", and then smile.
He is survived by his sisters Deborah Latulippe of Saint Albans and Donna Stearns and her husband Rod of Charlotte; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and close friends. Ed was predeceased by his wife Robin Provost, Father Donald Provost, Mother Theresa Provost, Brother William Provost, and Brother Joseph Provost. Ed will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 6 Green Street, Underhill, VT with burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
