Edward William "Ed" Quaderer, age 72, of Maple Grove, Michigan, died on January 6, 2026, at MyMichigan Health in Saginaw. He was born on June 8, 1953, in Flint, Michigan, to William and Alice (Louch) Quaderer.
Ed grew up in the Maple Grove area and graduated from St. Michael's High School in 1971, where he was part of the last graduating class. He spent his working years as a machine repairman and as a farmer, retiring after many years of hard work.
On September 11, 1976, Ed married Marie Lane at St. Michael's Church, where they built a life together rooted in faith, family, and community.
Ed enjoyed golf, farming, and hunting, but most of all he cherished time spent with his grandchildren, family, and friends.
Ed is survived by his wife, Marie Quaderer; his son, Ryan (Ashley) Quaderer; his daughter, Shelby (Dan) Korybalski; his granddaughters, Allyson and Madelyn Quaderer; his sisters Marilyn (Curt) Kimball, Jan (Ron) Sommerville, Linda (George) Rutherford, Sue (Rick) Perry, and Barb (Ron) Wisniewski; and many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alice Quaderer; his in-laws, Fred and Frances Lane ; his brothers-in-law, Fred Lane and Joe Lane; and his sister-in-law, Joan Chase.
A Mass of Christian burial Monday, January 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, with burial to follow. Visitation will be held Sunday January 11, 2026 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., at McGeehan Funeral Homes, Martin Chapel and 10am till the time of mass on Monday.
Memorial contributions, are suggested to the wishes of the family.
