5:00pm-7:30pm visitation Friday, June 20, 2025, at Peoples Undertaking Company; service at 12:00 noon Saturday at Pleasant Grove East McComb Baptist Church, Rev. Hilton Harrell, pastor, and Rev.Ulyesses Brown, officiating; interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Summit, MS.
Edward "Doty" Rollins was born on March 28, 1928, in Summit, MS, to Frank Rollins and Mary Webb-Rollins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Geraldine Rollins; one sister Lillie Mae Mallet; four brothers: Willie Rollins, Truly Rollins, Johnny Rollins and an Infant brother.
He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Lavern Rollins of Summit, MS; three sons: Gerald Bullock of Summit, MS, Eddie C. Carter of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Charles Edward Rollins of McComb, MS; eight grandchildren: Amanda Carter, Carmen Bullock, Hakeem Rollins, Markiena Rollins, Michelle Dillon, Raphael Carter, Terrence Bullock, and Raven Carter. Twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Ollie D. Woods of Detroit, MI; one brother, Eddie Rollins of Summit, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
