Edward R. Sabodacho ObituaryEdward R. Sabodacho, of East Brunswick, peacefully passed away at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was 85 years old.
Born in Queens, NY, Edward was raised as an only child by his dear mother. He attended high school in Manhattan and later moved to East Brunswick, where he has resided ever since. Before his retirement, Mr. Sabodacho was a longtime employee with Johnson & Johnson as a warehouse employee. He loved to collect antiques and tchotchkes, especially ceramic angels. Edward always did things the way he knew best and he lived a happy and fulfilling life. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Edward is survived by his loving cousins Waldemar and his wife Krystyna Sabodacha of Brooklyn, Nicole Sabodacha of Brooklyn, Karol Sabodacha and wife Laura of Chester, NY, Maciej Sabodacha and wife Princess of Valley Stream, NY, and Stephen Gervel and wife Deborah Elsey-Gervel of Alaska.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday at 9:30am from M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River, NJ with a Catholic Mass at St. Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church in South River.
Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park and Mausoleum in South Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will take place on Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm.
