Edward "Ed" Thomas Schwalbach, 65, passed away August 5, 2023, in his home surrounded by his loving family.
A native of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, son of the late Edward Alowishis Schwalbach, Sr., and Dorothy Schoener Schwalbach, he was the Director of Operations for Utility Partners of America and owner of DooSouth Labradoodles. He was an active member of Calvary Chapel in Greer and was devoted to his prayer and Bible study group. He was a loving and devoted husband and father.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Teresa Williams Schwalbach of the home; a son, Kevin D. Schwalbach and his wife, Candice of Santa Rita, Guam; a daughter, Kimberly Lynn Hudson and her husband, John of Woodruff; a brother, David Schwalbach of Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Patty Rust of Cold Springs, Kentucky; and five grandchildren, Aria Taylor, Brinley Hudson, Noah Schwalbach, Jacob Schwalbach, and Tasi Schwalbach.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Calvary Chapel, 3315 Brushy Creek Road, Greer, SC 29650, conducted by Pastor Randy Lucero and Pastor Jeremy Byers. The family requests all attendees wear happy colors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, Calvary Chapel, 3315 Brushy Creek Road, Greer, SC 29650, The Hope Center for Children, 202 Hudson L. Barksdale Blvd., Spartanburg, SC 29306, or Mircle Hill Ministries, P.O. Box 2546, Greenville, SC 29602.

Very sorry to hear about Ed. He was a big hearted man that loved to laugh and loved his family. May he rest in peace in the arms of the Lord. Praying for his friends and family.
