Edward J. Siedow

Edward J. Siedow, "Ed", age 71, of Shakopee, MN, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at The Estates at St. Louis Park.
Ed was born in Shakopee on October 27, 1953, the son of Walter and Maryann (McGovern) Siedow. He was married to Barb Lebens, and had one son, Lance.
He was a stock boy at Juba's grocery store, and then worked in the frozen foods section at Cub Foods for many years. Ed also served as a volunteer on the Shakopee Fire Department.
Ed enjoyed his time with Lance. They played catch, went fishing at the cabin near Hackensack, MN, and watched baseball and football together. He also liked spending time in his garden and keeping up with the MN Twins and Vikings.
Although he was pretty quiet and kept to himself, Ed was very hard working and loyal to all who knew him.
Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Barb; parents, Walter and Maryann; and brothers, Mark, Dan and Joe. He is survived by his son, Lance; grandson, Nathan; and sister, Shannon Seurer.
Visitation Monday, November 4, 2024, from 9:30-11:00 AM; followed by Prayer Service at 11:00 AM; at McNearney-Schmidt Funeral and Cremation, 1220 3rd Ave. East, Shakopee. Interment Catholic Cemetery, Shakopee.
