Edward Terrell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Apr. 19, 2025.
Edward F. Terrell Jr.
Of Binghamton
Edward F. Terrell Jr. of Binghamton, NY, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on April 16, 2025, at the age of 59. He was predeceased by his father, Clarence (Joe) Courtright, and his brothers, Joseph and Mark.
Ed dedicated his working life to serving others, both as a bus driver ensuring the safe transport of the community and as a security guard. He had a deep affection for animals, always ready to lend a hand or offer a kind word. A true sports enthusiast, Ed could often be found cheering on his favorite teams, and his love for classic Western movies was legendary – he never missed a chance to watch one.
He was the beloved husband and best friend of Connie Terrell and a devoted son to Nancie Courtright. His siblings, Clarence (Chuck) and Haia Courtright, Howard Courtright, Billy and Helen Courtright, Cindy (Bob) Drew, and Starr and Mark Regan, will deeply miss him. Ed was a loving dad to Matt Rolles, Tina and Dusty Riley, and Neil (Hannah Ledford) Terrell. His role as uncle to many nieces and nephews and cousin to countless others brought him great joy. However, his most cherished title was "Papa." He fiercely loved each of his grandchildren: Amber Birt, Andre Birt, Angela Troinello, Allyssah Birt, Declan Riley, Kenlee Riley, Raeona Riley, Aidan Terrell, and EmmaJayde Rolles, and they brought immense light to his life.
A Celebration of Ed's Life will be held at a later date, and details will be shared with family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
