Ed was a friend from New York. I knew he was in California, but had lost contact with him. We shared a lot of laughs and fun times. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I will always remember Ed's mischievous smile and the twinkle in his eyes. He and Janet and their beloved dog Freedom were my neighbors in Laurel Canyon. That was before Jillian was born and I moved from the Land of LA.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Dia, my wife, and I worked with Ed at Fred Sands Realty so many years ago. He was always a happy guy cruising in his fancy car and smoking a fat cigar. Most significantly, I remember him asking Janet "what's for dinner?", and after she answered him, he always responded, "what are my condiments?" Though we have not stayed in touch, we remember him fondly and are sorry to hear his last few years have not been healthy. Janet sounds great and remains a constant positive.
