Edward Trdan Obituary
Our family is in deep sorrow with the loss of our Edward (Ed) Trdan on 1/22/2026. Ed passed away peacefully at his home and farm near Milaca, MN from aspiration pneumonia. Ed was born on 1/19/1953 and grew up in North Minneapolis, attended OLV grade school and graduated from Henry High School. He and Janet Leipus married in August 1974 and had 48 very happy years together. Ed tragically lost Janet to cancer in 2022. He also was preceded in death by parents, Mary and Edward Trdan, sister, Mary Kay Trdan-Schmidt, and infant brother, Joseph. Ed is survived by son, Danan Trdan, daughter, Lisa Schlief, brothers, Michael (Dianne), John (Michelle), and Phillip (Lisa). He is also survived by grandchildren, Sonia Nelson, Jessica Kahl, Kaitlin Trdan, Zackery Blum and great grandchildren - Harper, Paxton, Sylus, Jaiminsyne, Scarlett, Waylon, Qinnlee, Penelope, Daphnie, and Bodhi. Ed's service begins with a 10 am visitation followed by an 11 am service on Friday, 2/6/2026 at Washburn- McReavy (1821 Coon Rapids Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433). Luncheon follows the service at Coon Rapids VFW Post # 9625 (1919 Coon Rapids Blvd.) God Bless you Eddy, we love you and will miss you every day.
