Edward Arthur Warriner, 76, of Lancaster, KS, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Lancaster Church of Faith with Pastor Steve Warriner officiating. Burial will follow at Lancaster Cemetery, Lancaster, KS. Memorials are suggested to Camp Creek Church or Amberwell Hospice and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.
Ed was born May 11, 1948, in Hastings, NE, the son of Roy Martin and Myrtle Pearl (Garber) Warriner. He graduated from Franklin High School. Ed was a drug and alcohol counselor for Valley Hope for twenty-four years and an over the road truckdriver for ten years with Dahlsten Trucking. He enjoyed truck driving and playing cards.
Ed married Carla Stevens on March 4, 1967; she survives of the home. He is also survived by two sons, Michael and Debbie Warriner, Effingham, KS, Matt and Carla Warriner, Kansas City, MO, a daughter-in-law Paula Farmer-Warriner, a sister, Beverly Petersen, Naples, FL, eight grandchildren, Megan (Kenny) Besette, Tobin Warriner, Desirae Wolford, Karleigh Warriner, Emily (Michael) Garwood, Kiley (Jacob) Howard, Mason Warriner, Alta Warriner, and six great grandchildren, Ty, Maddie, Marti, Zav, Kaylor and Melany.
Ed was preceded by his parents, a sister, Marilyn Hollis, a son, Marty Warriner, a grandson, Jacob Warriner and a great grandchild too perfect for earth.
