Edward Werner Obituary
Ed was a graduate of McDowell High School, where he was a basketball standout, graduating in 1952. He served two years in the US Navy and was deployed to Greece. He was then employed at General Electric for 35 years as a Designer Engineer. Ed was an avid golfer and was a member of Gospel Hill Golf Club.
Ed is survived by his wife of 69 years, Nancy Enders Werner; two children, Kirk (Wendy) and Gaye Werner; one brother, John Werner of State College; three grandchildren, Sara D'Emilio (Edward) of Baden, PA and Amanda and Michael Werner of Wattsburg; and two great-grandchildren, Jack and Sophie D'Emilio.
A private service will be held for immediate family. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505. Condolences may be sent to www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Werner's passing. He was a great guy. I remember him throwing the football to Kirk and me. He was always patient and kind. Praying for Mrs. Werner, Kirk and Gaye, for extra grace during this time of loss.
