Edward White Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Corley Funeral Home - Corsicana on Feb. 22, 2026.
Edward White, a beacon of kindness and generosity, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Born on August 22, 1953, in Lexington, Tennessee, Edward's life was a testament to the power of love, patience, and unwavering support for his family and community.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife Janet White, with whom he shared a love that was the envy of all who knew them. He was a devoted father to his children, Christopher White (Melissa), Amelia Mathes (Adam), Richard White (Jessica), and Bettie Stephens (Rob). His ten grandchildren, who were the apple of his eye, will miss his fierce love and the gentle wisdom he imparted. Edward also leaves behind his caring sister, Marie Karniewicz, and is predeceased by his parents, Reuben and Lorraine White.

Throughout his life, Edward's even-tempered and patient nature made him a pillar in the lives of many. As a long-time Boy Scout leader, he shaped the lives of young men with his steady guidance and generous spirit. His love for motorcycle riding was more than a hobby; it was a way for him to enjoy the freedom of the open road and the companionship of his fellow riders.

An avid fisherman, Edward found solace and joy in the quiet moments by the water. His ability to sit patiently for hours, waiting for a catch, was a metaphor for the way he lived his life-calmly weathering storms and reeling in the beauty of the world around him.

Edward's kindness was not just a trait but a way of life. He was always there for people, offering a helping hand or a listening ear to anyone in need. His presence was a comfort to those who knew him, and his absence will leave a void that cannot be filled.

Above all, Edward loved his family. He was a husband who cherished his wife, a father who supported and guided his children, and a grandfather who adored his grandchildren. The legacy he leaves is one of love, kindness, and generosity-a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Edward's life was a beautiful journey that touched countless souls. He will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, his generous heart, and the love he poured into every relationship. Edward White's memory will forever be a light in the lives of his family and friends.
