Edward Yousfi Obituary
July 1, 1945 - January 2, 2025
With hearts full of sorrow and gratitude, we celebrate the extraordinary life of Edward H. Yousfi, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 79. Born in Iran, Edward carried the vibrant spirit of his homeland even as he endured the loss of his country during the revolution.
A man of faith and boundless charisma, Edward had a rare gift for making everyone he met feel seen and valued. Whether through a warm smile, a big hug, or a kind word, he brought light into the lives of all who crossed his path. He found great joy in family, music, poetry, dancing, and lifting others through prayer. He believed that the remedy for any circumstance was ice cream! Despite lifes challenges, Edwards outlook on life never changed; he would say "I know where Im going" and he remained confident and deeply grateful for his many blessings. Edward was a man of strong presence, loved deeply by many and remembered by all. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife Karen J. (Reardon) Yousfi, and his children Diana Yousfi, Andraya Yousfi Winters (Daryl), Emily Yousfi, Anthony Daniel, Angelo Daniel (Kami), Nancy Hedayat (Hamoon), Nasim Shambayati Richardson (Paul), and Edward Yousfi Jr. (Alpna), 16 grandchildren, two brothers, Jonsi Yousfi (Shamiran), Jamo Youssefi (Lida), nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless dear friends. Edward was predeceased by his parents Michael and Shoushan Youssefi, his sister Sima Khoshabe and two brothers, George and Joseph Youssefi.

A celebration of Edwards life will be held at LifePoint Church, 603 New Ludlow Road in Chicopee, on January 25, with calling hours from 2-3pm., followed by a service and reception.
