I learned Physics in Mr Z's class but he taught a lot more than just the class material. He challenged us all to stretch far beyond the minimum requirements to pass. We are all richer for having had him in our community. He will be long remembered.

I learned biology and chemistry from Mr. Z, but what he really taught went far beyond the textbooks. Many a class started with an experiment, a story, or a question that made the whole room lean in. He had a way of making science feel alive-like you were discovering the world for the very first time. And that laugh... you could hear it clear as day from halfway down the hall. It was unmistakable and somehow comforting, a reminder that learning could be joyful.
My family lived up on "the hill," and those summers spent taking care of sheep and putting up hay still feel close to my heart. Every so often, Mr. Z would offer a bit of wisdom just when I needed it-simple, steady advice that carried more weight than he probably realized at the time.
Looking back, I´m grateful for all of it: the lessons, the laughter, the encouragement, and the quiet ways he shaped who I became. I was fortunate to have him in my life. Godspeed, Mr. Z.

One of my favorite teachers. He was our senior advisor. So much fun with him on our senior trip.

My heartfelt condolences to Joan, Melissa, Jennifer and family. I so enjoyed my years working for, and getting to know, Ed and Joan, while working for them at The Mulberry Bush. The best bosses ever! Ed always had a smile and a joke for me. I will always have fond memories of Ed.
