Edwin "Eddie" Bigelow

Edwin "Eddie" Bigelow, 61, passed away on October 24, 2025, in Springfield, Vermont. Born on November 28, 1963, in Concord, New Hampshire, Eddie lived a life marked by dedication to his craft, deep love for his family, and an adventurous spirit that never waned.

Eddie grew up in Franklin, New Hampshire, but moved to Derby, Vermont in his early adult years. Rutland, VT became his home where he started his family and raised his children until finally settling in Springfield, VT. He has family and friends that span from one end of the state to the other.

After receiving his high school diploma, Eddie went on to complete trade school and became a Master Electrician. His commitment to excellence in his field was unwavering-he continued to pursue education and expand his knowledge throughout his life. His work was not just a profession but a passion that reflected his meticulous nature and drive for mastery.

Eddie's heart belonged to his family. He is survived by his daughter Brittiny Walker and her husband John Walker, along with their children Charlotte and John IV Walker; his son Brennan Bigelow. He also leaves behind his mother Linda (Davis) Dumond; sisters Desiree Mahurin and Amber Dumond, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many friends. Eddie was predeceased by his father Roger Dumond and maternal grandparents Natalie and Jerry Davis.

Those who knew Eddie will remember him as loving and dependable-a man who would drop anything at a moment's notice to help family or friends. He had a zest for life that kept him young at heart and always ready for the next adventure. Whether he was out hunting in the woods, tearing through trails on a four-wheeler or snowmobile, or working under the hood of a car, Eddie found joy in motion and connection with nature.

His presence brought laughter and energy wherever he went. A good time was never far behind when Eddie was around-his adventurous soul and generous heart left lasting impressions on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a reminder of a life lived fully-with love, laughter, and purpose. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 2, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 03:00 PM at his daughter's Bakery, B. Bakes Deli & Cakes 28 Washington Street in Keene, New Hampshire.
