Edwin Carrasquillo, 85, of Garnerville, NY passed away on June 16, 2024. He was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico on July 19, 1938.
Edwin graduated from Haaren High School and married Neida on May 28, 1966. Edwin proudly served served during the Vietnam War. He later worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. He had a passion for music, dancing, playing his variety of instruments, sharing his music through the house but his greatest joy was being surrounded by his family.
He was survived by his four children, Kenny, Russell, Glenn, Rahela; his four grandchildren, Jeremy, Kaitlyn, Desiree, and Jayden. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 4 PM to 8 PM at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville, New York. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, 10am, at St. Peters Church in Haverstraw New York followed by entombment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Nyack, New York.
