Edwin Lee Cook, passed away July 2, 2024 in Pueblo, Colorado. Ed was born November 19, 1934 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Robert and Hazel Cook. Ed was a longtime employee of the Colorado State Hospital working as a computer programmer before his retirement. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army. Ed was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #145, an avid Broncos, Rockies and NASCAR fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Ed was preceded in death by his wife Peggy in 1989; a daughter, Maryann; a son Bret and his brother Robert “Bob” Cook. Ed is survived by his children Kate (Albert) Bufmack, Sean Cook and Laura (Charles); his grandchildren, Brad (Jennifer), Zachary (Savanna), Kyle (Jacqe), Raina, Austin, Adam, Meghan, Morgan, Arianna and Reese; his great grandchildren, Carlee, Riley, Greyson, Tovi, Beatriz, Cason, Kaydence, Abby and Annabel; his sister, Pat Willsey as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 27, 2024 in the Davis Memorial Chapel.
